A library card with travel benefits

PhoenixPublicLibraryCardThe newly designed Phoenix Public Library card (a key chain card available now, too) comes with a travel benefit.

Library cardholders can visit Phoenix Art Museum and receive $2 off general admission.

Just present the library card when you purchase your tickets. The discount is for a maximum of four people per household, so you could save up to $8–almost the price of admission for one adult.

There is no cost to apply for a library membership card if you’re a resident of Maricopa County. Just fill out the form online. Those who live outside Maricopa County pay $20.

Phoenix Public Library is a system of 14 branch libraries and the Burton Barr Central Library. The Burton Barr has it’s own on-site gallery with regular and free art exhibits. Call 602-262-4636 or visit the main branch (1221 N. Central Avenue) for more information.

NOTE: Both venues listed are located on the Light Rail line in downtown Phoenix.
