The trail around the lake is gorgeous. I saw several couples take it hand-in-hand. Very sweet. There are ruins up the road--did you get a chance to visit those? We had a family cabin in Strawberry, AZ which is not far from Prescott. I have a lot of fond childhood memories from the area.
