With multiple access points from all sides of the mountains and 17 miles across the top from one end to the other, you don&#039;t have to travel far to experience great hiking in Phoenix. My favorite (and the favorite of many Ahwatukee residents) at a little under 3 miles roundtrip is Telegraph Pass.
